Display Case Description

For increasingly collectible half scale model F1 helmets, we recommend protecting them with one of our display cases, not only will it look much better and be displayed to it maximum potential, it will be protected from dust and over 90% of harmful UV light. This display case is easily accessible and will keep your F1 helmet in pristine condition, as well as deter people from picking it up.

The acrylic display cover is fabricated from 3mm thick acrylic and supplied as a single piece, so there is no self assembly required. We have fabricated it from three pieces of acrylic, the front, top and back are made from one piece with 2 bends in the acrylic to form the three faces, the sides are then solvent welded onto it, finally they are machined and polished to provide a smooth professional finish. The acrylic cover will not only protect from over 90% of UV light, it will also protect your displayed item from dust and inquisitive fingers. The display cover is easily removable and can be lifted from the base to easily gain access to your displayed item.

The base of this display case is made from two pieces of 5mm thick acrylic, held together, and apart, by Stainless Steel Fixings in each corner. This gives a very modern look. the base is available in a choice 3 colours, black, clear or white.
The display cover sits on top of the bottom part of the base, and the upper part of the base sits inside of the cover, this raises the model inside the case by about 20mm, which reduces the internal display height by 20mm, compared to the other base styles we have available. The corner supports sit 6mm higher than the top of the base, so you have to allow at least 18mm clearance in the corners for your displayed item. This display case has internal sizes of 200mm wide x 150mm deep x 150mm high, externally it measures approximately 207mm wide x 157mm x deep 180mm high.
